Final Fantasy XIV Guide ? Changing to Different Jobs - Which one will you pick?

Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn

In Final Fantasy XIV, players will have an opportunity to switch into different jobs after mastering their main class. Each of the classes that are available yields to specific jobs that you can pick after meeting certain conditions.

One of the best things about Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is that you can be anything you want. Since you can switch into different classes at one point to another, it?s possible for you to master every job available in the game, although you will be spending a lot of time in leveling them up. Unlike other MMOs that lock you into one particular ?job? or ?advanced class?, Final Fantasy XIV will be flexible enough to meet your needs.

Below is the list of jobs that you can choose and some information about them.

Paladin

Final Fantasy XIV - Paladin Job

The Paladin comes from the lines of the Gladiator class. Players who will pick to become a Paladin will have to protect people in a group, which pretty much makes them a tank. As with all tanks in every MMO, it is the Paladin?s job to get the aggro as it mitigates the damage they receive. The most important stat of the Paladin is Vitality, since this one increases their HP and having high health makes them live longer in battle.

How to Change: To switch from the Gladiator class to a Paladin, you must have the following levels for a particular class:
- Gladiator (Level 30)
- Conjurer (Level 15)

Monk

Final Fantasy XIV - Monk Job

The Monk comes from the lines of the Pugilist class. Those who prefer to focus on brute strength and want to deal a high amount of damage output, Monk is one of the DPS jobs that you can pick. Being a Monk, players will be using the power of wind and/or the elements to deal a massive amount of damage to enemies. The main stat players should focus in raising is strength, since the Monk will be needing a lot of power.

How to Change: To switch from the Pugilist class to a Monk, you must have the following levels for a particular class:
- Monk (Level 30)
- Pugilist (Level 15)
